- arranging a change to energy source;
- joining current promotional offers;
- arranging the payment method for bills; and
- simple and quick communication with our consultants.

- On the website https://moj.gen-i.si/Account/Register, enter an active email address, i.e. the same one you provided for the conclusion of the contract. If you no longer use this email, you can also register with a different email. The entered email address will also be used as your username. Then select a random password, enter the missing data and confirm this data by clicking on Registration.
- You will then be sent a confirmation email to your email address, which you click or copy into your web browser to activate your user account.
- After you receive confirmation that your user account was successfully activated, log into My GEN-I using your selected username and password.
Click the link ‘Forgot my password’ in the form for logging into my user account on the homepage https://moj.gen-i.si , and enter your email address (username). You will be sent a confirmation link that you click to reset your password. A new password, which you can change under the ‘Settings’ tab when you re-access your user account, will be sent to your email address.
Yes. In the section ‘Settings’, find the tab ‘Metering points’ and under the selected metering point click ‘Edit settings’, select the desired source of energy and confirm your selection. Complete the process by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button. We begin supplying electricity from your chosen source the following month. If you have multiple metering points, the source of energy needs to be changed for each separate metering point.
Of course. Whenever there is a live promotion, you can join directly via the portal. On the right-hand side at the top of the page, click the user profile icon, select the ‘Settings’ tab, then click the ‘Promotions’ tab and confirm the selection of the promotion you desire.
Currently, the portal is not available as a mobile app.
No. You cannot change your username. If you are no longer using the email address connected with the portal, please inform us on the My GEN-I portal, using the ‘Send us a message’ tab, so we can deactivate your username. You can then re-register on the portal with a new email address.
We suggest that you check your emails in the Promotions and Spam folders. If you also cannot find the email there, please inform us at elektrika@gen-i.si.
The portal is intended for our contracted customers, but can also be used by other persons. The portal provides three access options, i.e. full access, authorized access and restricted access.
- The official contract signatory has full access and can assign different types of access to data regarding metering points to other users.
- With restricted access, a user is restricted to viewing data on the consumption of a specific metering point from the date on which such access had been assigned to them, in addition to having the ability to submit meter readings.
- With authorized access, a user submits meter readings and views data regarding the consumption of a specific metering point, and also has access to other metering point data (including contract data) and issued bills, with the option of filing complaints regarding these bills. The user can arrange the addresses for the receipt of bills and the methods of receipt and payment of bills, but cannot join promotions or assign data access to other users.
We will send you an email with a recommendation to activate your user account within a few days after a successful supplier switch for a simpler and quicker start to using the portal. The email will include all the instructions on how to begin using the My GEN-I portal.
